Holman Ranch Fall Wedding Inspiration

Holman Ranch is one of those spots that plays backdrop to our favorite weddings time and time again. It’s an oasis of natural beauty, so it’s really no wonder Sally Pinera picked it as the setting of her fall inspiration shoot. She brought on Kelly Lenard to design a bouquet fit for an autumn bride, and that dress by Emily Riggs is modern romance to a T. Thanks to The Vault, your Tuesday just got a whole lot sweeter.

From Sally Pinera…For this shoot we were inspired by the warm tones of fall, the rolling hills of Carmel and the beautifully rustic Holman Ranch. We incorporated slightly more moody tones such as mauvey pinks, dark plums and accents of burgundy. Delicate and beautifully made, the Emily Riggs blush gown was a the perfect touch on our bride with tousled hair. The Holman Ranch is a beautiful venue that is nestled in the hills of Carmel. Surrounded by hills and oak trees, it was a stunning backdrop for this shoot.

An Urban Jungle Wedding at Millwick: Season + Kier

Season + Kier are an ultra-fun + carefree couple who wanted their wedding day to reflect that about them. Their lush, eclectic warehouse wedding, at Millwick in LA, was brought to life by the amaze team at GATHER Events, with perfect tropical blooms by Inessa Nichols (for GATHER Events) to match Millwick’s urban-jungle vibe. The pretty palette was one of our most favorite details. The deep blues already inherent to the space contrasted with peachy tones, rich, bright greens and a healthy dose of gold accents. And one of S + K’s biggest shared loves, music, was represented throughout the entire day, leaving guests feeling connected to the two of them in so many ways!

SMP Bridal Week 2015: Pronovias

We kicked off the afternoon in the front row at the Pronovias runway; this Barcelona-based designer didn’t hold back when it came to showcasing the ultimate glamour and elegance, and lucky for us, Greg Finck was along for the adventure to snap all the style for us to go gaga over in our VAULT right here!

It wouldn’t be a trip to the Big Apple, much less during the hustle and bustle of Bridal Week without at least one proper pit stop to refuel. With hands wrapped around warm cups of coffee, we were able to regroup and chat all about our favorite looks so far (chic capes have taken ahold of my heart), and gush over all the new trends that we’re bound to see gracing the pages of SMP in the very near future.

SMP Bridal Week 2015: Amsale, Christos + Kenneth Pool

The only thing better than attending a show during bridal week is getting a backstage pass. And when that pass happens to be to The Amsale Group. Let’s just say we were in heaven. Not only were we accompanied by the incredibly talented Greg Finck (who captured all these gorgeous photos for #SMPBridalWeek), but we had entered wedding wonderland—a room with racks of dreamy wedding dresses lining all four walls and models sporting sleek, pulled-back buns and a face of clean makeup with a classic red lip. It was a hustle of wedding dress as everyone prepped for the big show, and we these shots are your inside look.

We’re talking about the biggest names in bridal, and we shared runway tidbits in real time with #SMPBridalWeek. First up on our bridal market agenda? Jenny Yoo. The wildly talented designer behind so, so many of brides and ‘maids dresses here on SMP. We were lucky enough to score some one-on-one time with Jenny and her sister Ellen, and see a few pieces of the new collection up close and personal. And true to form, Greg photographed this season’s must-see gowns to perfection.

For bridesmaids it was all about versatility. Pretty pastels and fun separates took center stage and with dresses that can be worn multiple ways to compliment the various body types in your wedding party, we’re uber excited to step into the role of bridesmaid at any given chance.
